1) Today we will learn M1 U1, let’s watch the video, pay attention, “Where are they?” (Present the question on the screen) have the Ss watch the video and answer the question.
They are in a fast food restaurant.
【Help the Ss understand the dialog as a whole one.】
2) Let’s watch the first part, pay attention, “Who wants a hot dog? What does Simon want?”(Pay attention to ‘hot dog’) (Present the questions on the screen) have the Ss watch the video and answer the questions.
Daming wants a hot dog.
Simon wants a hamburger.
4) Now let’s watch the second part. Pay attention, “ What do they want to drink?” (Present the questions on the screen) have the Ss watch the video and answer the questions.
They want to drink cola.
5) Now let’s watch next part. Pay attention to this question. “ How much is the food in all?”(pay attentions to “in all”) ( show the question on the screen) have the Ss watch the video and answer the question.
It’s thirteen dollars and twenty-five cents, in all.
